The Adirondack Park was
created in 1892 by an act of the New York State Legislature, and now
includes 6 million acres.
|
|
|
From the high peaks of the Adirondacks to the Atlantic
coast, New York State offers a diverse selection of hiking and
camping opportunities.
These opportunities range from challenging mountain treks
to easy afternoon strolls. Hiking opportunities abound for
people of any background, interest, or ability.
North River can design a hiking or camping trip suited to
your ability and desires. We can arrange a local
afternoon hike or a wonderful long weekend in the Tug Hill
Region,
our trips are only limited by your imagination!
